lol thanks, it makes a load more sense now.... and the classification bit got mentioned in a discussion about the previous surgery.

so what about the stages thing? seems like its a load of bunkum, but i see it on websites quite a bit.

Your totally right this 'stages' thing is a complete load of tosh. CRPS never was and never has been described in terms of stages, except by some very low grade idiot websites who think they know more than they do. The NHS one springs to mind here.

The trouble with trying to breakdown CRPS in to 'stages' is that you can go from the apparent stage 1 to 100 in about 15 seconds. You don't pass go, don't collect £200 and don't get a 'Get Out Of Gaol Free' card either.

So much crap and bunkum (I do like that word) is written about CRPS that it's no wonder no one knows their ar*es from the flaming elbows with this.
